During a dominant display, the English national team clinched a further victory against their opponents, with several squad members delivering memorable displays throughout the game.
Starting Eleven
Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to perform in the first half but then called into action from an opponent's bent shot. A sliding tackle on an Albanian attacker showed his game intelligence. 6/10
Jarell Quansah Examined by the opposition's main danger in their forward. Operated through the middle to begin with later drifted to the flank once a teammate came on. 7/10
The defender Moved forward on the ball, as he has done in the past. At times was too casual when carrying play with the tactic abandoned at half-time. 6/10
Dan Burn A constant threat from dead balls, as always, perhaps is a replacement for his teammate in the backline as opposed to paired with him. One wayward ball in the second half almost led to a goal for Albania. 6/10
The young full-back Another assured performance by the 20-year-old following his debut against another side. A teammate was unable to take full advantage of a gorgeous touch over the Albania defence. The left-back spot looks secure already. Seven
The newcomer His maiden beginning for his country. Slightly sloppy when playing out though his inswinging set-pieces posed a danger. An effective pace-controller available to the coach to have versus teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed foul. 6/10
The midfielder Crosses from corners and free kicks caused problems. Was given license to roam on the left but was offside upon receiving in front of goal. Granted a merited rest after an hour. Six
Jude Bellingham Operated in a high position on the right and also did plenty of the hard yards. Showed glimpses of brilliance but mishit an effort over. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, after being booked. 7
The winger Was presented with the team's best chance before halftime, his strike excellently kept out by the opposing goalkeeper. With Quansah hanging back, he was forced to provide width out wide but his crosses from the touchline were inconsistent. Taken off late in the match. Six
Harry Kane The match-winner with his two more goals at international level. His first a trademark close-range tap-in and the second a classy header after peeling away away from the opposition. Now 32, he continues to improve and the side stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. 8/10
Eberechi Eze Found it tough to get into the game from the left. Was presented with a good opening when set up by Bellingham but Strakosha denied him. His replacement made much more of effect when substituted. Five
