Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Complete Collection

For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:

  • Fractal Terrains 3+
  • Dungeon Creation Tool
  • City Designer 3
  • Cosmic Mapping System
  • Viewpoint Enhancement
  • Dioramas 3
  • Character Artist 3
  • Fantasy Interior Symbols
  • Symbol Set 3: Modern
  • Symbol Set 4: Dungeons of Schley
  • Schley Urban Pack
  • Monster Token Collection 2
  • Source Maps: Temples, Tombs and Catacombs
  • Historical War Maps
  • World Creation Guide
  • Cartographer’s Annual Vol 1-17
  • Permanent CC3+ Access
  • Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
  • Comprehensive Mapping Guide
  • Fantasy Landscape Symbols
  • Token Treasury: Monsters 1
  • Source Maps: Castles!
  • Source Maps: Cities!

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
